Two new clubs donate to Project Green Ball; Over 63,000 balls in total collected

The Mount Auburn Club (850 balls) and the Kingsbury Club (250 balls) have joined over 20 other clubs, schools and camps in donating balls to Project Green Ball.  Together, with new balls donations from the Natick Racket Club (500 balls), Project Green Ball has now collected or has commitments for over 63,000 tennis balls.

PGB is over 30% of the way towards achieving its goal of collecting 200,000 tennis balls.  Once PGB collects 200,000 balls our equestrian turf manufacturer partner will donate a riding surface to a therapeutic riding program for persons with disabilities and life threatening diseases.

Special thanks to Sheryl Maskell at the Mount Auburn Club and to Donna Bearup at the Kingsbury Club for thinking of PGB.  As usual, thanks to the folks at Natick Racket Club who have faithfully continued to donate balls to our collection bin at the club.

If you belong to a club which would like to host a collection bin or would like to find a way to dispose of your dead tennis balls in a sustainable manner, please reach out to Project Green Ball at  We’d love to hear from you and work with you.
