Project Green Ball installed its seventh collection bin at the Boston Sports Club in Lexington this weekend. Collection bins have become an increasingly large component of PGB’s collection activities as more and more local tennis players become aware of PGB and its mission. Special thanks to Ron Graziosi and Rosemary Ducharme for their efforts. Here’s a picture of our latest collection bin at BCS in Lexington:
We cleaned out collection bins at the Natick Racket Club and Wightman Tennis Center this weekend, yielding just over 600 balls. In addition, the Thoreau Club in Concord, MA contributed another 780 balls (thanks to Rick Sharton). All total, PGB has collected nearly 53,000 balls.
Thanks to everyone for their generous contributions and keep them coming. If your club or facility would like to host a collection bin, please let us know and we can help you set one up. Please contact us at info@projectgreenball.com.
