Three member schools of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) – The Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA, The Rivers School in Weston, MA and St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH – together, have donated 740 balls to Project Green Ball from their recently completed spring tennis season.
The Dana Hall School has further demonstrated its commitment to this sustainability approach by purchasing an equestrian turf based on dead tennis balls. Dana Hall has completed the circle from use to donation of waste to consumption of recycled materials based on the donated waste. Kudos to Dana Hall for its foresight and leadership in the area of sustainability.
We welcome all schools with tennis balls sitting in storage closets to donate them to Project Green Ball. Together, we can reduce the amount of waste going to landfills and develop creative uses for dead tennis balls.
